Although we are fortunate to be blessed with beautiful weather in Brisbane, at times it can be very unpredictable. Story Bridge Adventure Climb (SBAC) is an all weather activity. Our specially designed protective equipment allows our Climbers to enjoy their adventure in the wind, rain and on the rare occasion cold conditions. Occasionally Brisbane will experience electrical storm activity and high wind conditions during which time SBAC will not operate, however due to some of the latest cutting edge technology and through comprehensive training and communication with Brisbane’s Bureau of Meteorology, the Team at SBAC are able to track and monitor inclement weather. Many of Brisbane’s thunder storms have little or no impact upon our Climbers experience as they tend to pass through very quickly thus allowing for our operations team to coordinate climb groups movements safely around the bridge at all times. Please Note: All Climbers must still arrive for their scheduled climb booking regardless of current weather conditions at that point in time. SBAC wherever possible will notify you only if a climb is not to take place due to weather and/or any unforeseen conditions and/or circumstances.
