See Brisbane from a new perspective with Story Bridge Adventure Climb. It's a safe, soft adventure experience for groups and individuals - for conference attendees, social groups, team building, staff events and gifts. Get out with your colleagues and achieve together, or reward staff members with a truly uplifting outdoor adventure, perfect for all fitness levels and ages (minimum 10 years old). All year round Brisbane's mild sub-tropical climate means any time is perfect for a climb.
Feel the exhilaration of climbing the bridge as a stand-alone activity, or partner it with dinner. Our climb and dine packages are designed to suit your exacting requirements. You can dine pre-or-post climb, enjoying a river view BBQ from the park below the bridge, retire to a top local restaurant, or head to the iconic Story Bridge Hotel, nestled under the bridge.
The views from the top are, of course, spectacular, but that's not all you'll take in as you climb. Our Climb Leaders are knowledgeable on all things 'bridge and Brisbane', taking you on a fascinating journey into the construction of the bridge with a heap of facts and fitgures, and the history of the city itself, some of it quite shady!
Want the bridge all to yourself? No problem! Exclusive group climbs can be arranged for your company or friends, and special deals are available if you climb with eight people or more. Just speak with our friendly reservations staff to make the arrangements. If not, you can join a pre-scheduled climb at dawn, daylight, twilight or night.
The memories you take away from the climb will last a lifetime, but something more tangible can be arranged. Group or individual photographs are taken by the Group Climb Leader on the bridge and they're available for purchase from the SBAC gift shop by the time you get back down to ground level!
If you're still looking for the perfect memento of your 'climb time' there is a huge range of Story Bridge Adventure Climb merchandise including quality clothing, hats and cute toy bears.
We want to make sure you have a safe, yet exciting time with us and so all of our climbers must not have a blood alcohol level reading of 0.05% or more, or be under the influence of any prescription or illicit drugs. We don't want to embarrass anyone, so we ask group organisers to make sure their friends or colleagues know about all safety requirements including footwear, clothing and alcohol.drug restrictions.
