The
2½ hour experience includes an extensive briefing, climb preparation and
the climb itself to the 80 metre summit which provides magnificent views
of Brisbane City, the river, the mountain ranges and Moreton Bay Islands.
Due to its location so close to the CBD, the climb offers a unique and
intimate perspective as well as a birds-eye view of Australia’s
fastest-growing capital city.
Pre-scheduled
dawn, day, twilight and night climbs are available. Exclusive climbs and
special deals are offered for groups with minimum numbers required. When
schedules are tight, express climbs of shorter duration can also be
arranged depending upon availability (conditions apply).
Climbers
depart in groups of twelve (12) and a 20 minute interval is required
between departures. Each group is accompanied by an experienced Climb
Leader who provides stimulating commentary about the city, its river and
surrounds as well as fascinating facts and figures about the bridge
itself. For the entire duration of the climb, all climbers are
attached to a safety harness with climb leaders trained to support and
encourage those who may be a little wary of heights. |
