1st May, 2007 Dear Sir or Madam,
Welcome to the Story Bridge Adventure Climb Education program!
Over a period of years, we have been working with several
Industrial Design and Technology, Science, and Study of Society and the
Environment teachers to develop the Story Bridge Adventure Climb Education
Program, a comprehensive learning experience built around a bridge
climb. We believe this program is a world first.
Should you be interested in receiving more information on the education
program, please email me at education@sbac.net.au and I
will forward you a disk containing a short video presentation on the
bridge climb, over 100 pages of support material in the three disciplines
above, worksheet solutions and a PowerPoint presentation covering the
history and engineering of the Story Bridge. Information as
well as curriculum material may be accessed via the Education Program
portal on our web site: www.sbac.net.au
The cost of a student climb is $55, including GST (which can be claimed
back by the school). This is considerably lower than our advertised
concession rate of $82.50 and our normal public climb rate of $110.00. One
teacher per climb group of twelve students will climb at no charge.
I offer my personal invitation for your school to participate in this
exciting educational opportunity. Should you or any of your staff have
questions about the program, I or one of my team will be happy to
assist.
Yours sincerely
Paul Lewin CEO Story Bridge Adventure Climb (07) 3514
